    Hey Jared and Doug,

Love what you’re doing here with this site. I’m a gamer myself and wanted to say hi and introduce myself:

I work for SWARM, a digital product studio in NYC, and we recently launched a free gaming app called LFGer (check it out in the app store: http://lfger.com/) which helps gamers find other gamers quickly for any game on any platform. (It’s barebones at this point, but we’re looking to develop it into a product that the community can get behind – I’d love to hear your thoughts on it).

I’m reaching out to you because I think LFGer could be the perfect solution for matching players and helping build community.

It would be awesome if we could test it out here and put a link for the app in the sidebar. Let me know what you think.

Hope to hear from you soon! 🙂

    All the best,
    Mel (or mello_jello)

      Hey, Melanie!

Thanks for finding our blog. Unfortunately, due to a very full schedule, we stopped adding any posts eons ago. I’m doubtful it’ll live on again, but maybe one day. 🙂 I’m not sure that the sidebar would be helpful to your efforts as we’re not generating any content and don’t get many visitors anymore. However, I think your idea is a good one! Especially as gamers age, it becomes increasingly difficult for them to find casual folks to enjoy a few hours of gaming with. This is especially true in the MMO arena as virtually all of my long-time guild members are actually too busy to play together anymore (hence why we just communicate on Facebook to stay in touch).

If you provided an Android app, I’d be able to enjoy downloading and giving it a once-over. I’m not an Apple guy. 🙂

Thanks so much for your feedback!

Good news, we’re rolling out an android version soon. Will let you know when it’s ready 😉

As for now, If you have time this week to chat about your blog, how you acquired users, why you started it, LFG sites, etc.. I’d love to don’t pick your brain a bit!

    Let me know.

    Best,
    Mel 🙂
