Spaceship Sizes From Across The Galaxy (

This chart is a massive undertaking. I’m not even sure how he found “specs” for the majority of these, but major kudos to Dirk (and Dan Carlson) on this effort! Super nerdy in the best way possible.

Sci-fi ship chart compares size of ships from EVE, Star Wars, and more

Have you ever been curious about the size comparisons between an Amarr Avatar-Class Titan from EVE Online and a Universe-Class Mass Conveyor from Warhammer 40K? You have?! Well, you’re in luck because DeviantArt user ~DirkLoechel has been assembling one of the largest and most comprehensive size-comparison charts for sci-fi ships.

The chart, which is still an ongoing project, spotlights the ship sizes from many of the most popular sci-fi universes out there, including Star Wars, Star Trek, Babylon 5, Battlestar Galactica, and more than a dozen more. Heck, it even has the Red Dwarf on there.

Head over the ~DirkLoechel’s page to see more from this monstrous chart.

Star Wars Pez Dispenser Flash Drives (

I’m not sure who actually even uses thumb drives anymore, but the PEZ part…I can understand that. Thanks to Etsy designer DHHdesign, you can find dozens of reimagined Pez dispensers (Strawberry Shortcake, Shrek, Frodo, Donald Duck, etc.), all for around $20.

There are some kinds of candy that never get old, and they stay popular for decades. These include candy canes, cotton candy and even Pez. You probably remember loading your Pez candy into your Pez dispenser when you were a kid. It’s such a classic, and I hope it never goes out of style. It’s always fun to see when someone mods a classic like a Pez dispenser into something even more fun. An example of this would be the personalized 3D printed Pez Dispenser Featuring Your Own Head.

Another example are these super geeky Star Wars Pez Dispensers that are modded to include a flash drive inside. Etsy artist DHHdesign specializes in creating flash drive repurposed gifts, and these little Pez dispensers are brilliant! I gotta have that R2.

Each one of the USB drives is completely hidden inside the candy dispenser, so you will be the only one who knows it’s there. Having a flash drive inside your Pez dispenser will obviously limit the number of candies that you’ll be able to load into that badboy, but it will still fit 4 inside there.

Each one is handcrafted, and they cost about $20 each. There are a lot more Pez dispenser designs available (including Spidey and Superman), but I just included the Star Wars one in this article. You can click over to Etsy to see the rest. If you are a geek with a sweet tooth, or if you know someone who is, this might be the perfect little “gadget” to brighten his or her day. It could quite possibly be the most useful Pez dispenser ever made. This is one flash drive that you surely won’t toss in a drawer and lose forever. This will be a keepsake for years to come.

Star Wars Elevator Prank (

I think it’s great how such an EASY, simple prank appears to be so awesome. 🙂

Use The Force To Make Elevators Open

It’s been a while since I posted a good prank, and this Star Wars elevator prank is priceless. This isn’t a scary elevator prank like when we featured that article about When The Floor Falls Out Of An Elevator. This is just a brilliant little prank that’s all about using the force to control when an elevator opens. It requires no preparation, props or setup. All it takes is you and a friend (two people) and preferably a dark hoodie (for effect). It can be done anywhere there’s an elevator.

It’s always fascinating to see how people respond to pranks like this. Some people are uptight, and they actually get mad about it. It’s like the prankster is interrupting their very serious day. Other people are confused, and they just want to get away. Others are curious and amused, and they try to figure it out. I think the way people respond to pranks like this gives us a glimpse into their personalities. I hope I would respond well, but I haven’t had a prank (especially an elevator prank) like this pulled on me.

If you are a Star Wars fan, watching the video below will definitely brighten your day. If you work in an office with elevators, this would be something you could even try today. You’ll just have to choose a partner in crime, and then give it a go. If you have a hoodie, it will look even more authentic. I would want to be the person on the inside of the elevator, not the one on the outside. The prankster on the inside definitely has more fun, don’t you agree? This might just be my favorite Star Wars prank yet. I hope you enjoy it as much as I did.
